CORFU. The road in Nissaki was closed for a few hours, but it has now reopened to traffic.
The road in Nissaki was closed as a large section of a stone wall collapsed and ended up on the road.
The North Corfu Municipal Civil Protection Service and the Deputy Mayors Haritonas Koutsouris and Theodoros Mavronas rushed to the scene, while the Ionian Islands Regional Civil Protection was also informed of the incident, as it is responsible for this particular road.
The stone wall that seems to have been recently constructed collapsed due to the heavy rainfall that occurred earlier today.
