CORFU. The park will contribute to greater road safety.
Work on the Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands Municipal Traffic Education Park was completed a few days ago and it is ready to open once again.
The improved, modern facility will contribute significantly to greater road safety. The area next to the park, which had been turned into a rubbish tip, is now a free car park.

Mayor Meropi Ydraiou and Deputy Mayor for Technical Works Nikos Kalogeros inspected the facility following the completion of the work which was funded by the Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands Municipality.
Efforts were initially made earlier this year by the Everyday Life and Green Departments to clean up the area and reopen the park but a lot more work was required, which was completed by the Technical Works Department.
The opening of the facility is being planned in a few days and it will start to operate once more with all the schools making use of it.
