Traffic measures in Corfu Town on 28 October

The following traffic measures will be in place in Corfu Town on Friday 28 October for the celebration of the national 28th October anniversary:

No parking or stopping
07:00-14:00

- Akadimias (from Ionian Academy to Agoniston Polytechniou)
- Agoniston Polytechniou
- Viktoros Dousmani (from Agoniston Polytechniou junction to car park exit)
- Donzelot and Konstantinou Zavitsianou (between Prosalendou and Alipiou in front of the old Courthouse)

Roads closed to traffic
10:00-14:00

St.Desylla (G.Theotoki junction to Rizospaston Voulefton), Aspioti, Akadimias, Agoniston Polytechniou, Viktoros Douzmani, Dimokratias Ave (from Douglas Column to NAOK junction), Georgiou Theotoki (in direction towards St.Desylla), Rizospaston Voulefton (apart from section between Iakovou Polila and Vraila Armeni) and Vraila Armeni (from Dinou Theotoki and Dimokratias Ave).

Traffic will be diverted at the following points:

- Alexandras Ave and Dimokratias Ave (Douglas Column)
- Stamatiou Desylla and Georgiou Theotoki (pedestrian area)
- Alexandras Ave and G. Theotoki (Boba)
- Alexandras Ave and Riz. Voulefton (Post Office)

From 07:00 to 14:00 the following measures will be in place:

Traffice police will divert traffic to side streets .

Access for emergency vehicles to the historic centre in Corfu Town will be via Dimokratias Ave at the Douglas Column.
