CORFU. 171 driving offences.
Between 18:00 on 15 October and 02:00 on 16 October police in Corfu, Zakynthos, Cephalonia and Lefkada carried out checks for the following:
482 vehicles and 562 individuals were checked, leading to 31 arrests - 4 in Corfu, 14 in Zakynthos, 4 in Lefkada and 9 in Cephalonia - for the following offences:
- 2 for illegal possession of weapons
- 5 for drunkenness
- 1 for noise pollution
- 1 for playing music outwith times allowed
- 3 businesses for lack of health certificate
42 vehicles were immobilised for driving without a licence, driving under the influence, not wearing crash helmets, being without MOT, worn tyres and no silencer.
There were also 12 offences of smoking in no smoking areas. Police also confiscated one knife, one wooden club and 1.7g cannabis.

There were 171 driving offences, including the following:
- 10 driving under the influence
- 19 speeding
- 7 not wearing seat belts
- 26 not wearing crash helmet
- 5 using mobile phone whilst driving
- 19 without driving licences
- 1 with uninsured vehicle
- 4 without MOT42 vehicles were immobilised for driving without a licence, driving under the influence, not wearing crash helmets, being without MOT, worn tyres and no silencer.
