CORFU. Close family members are being investigated.
According to the autopsy report from medical examiner Yiannis Aivatidis, the 93-year-old woman found dead in her home on Sunday was strangled. Corfu Police confirmed to Enimerosi that it is being investigated as a case of homicide.
The identity of the perpetrator is not yet known. The police are conducting an investigation and close family members are being questioned. There has been no evidence so far of a robbery.
The woman lived with her son.
