Following the results of the autopsy police are now looking into homicide as the possible cause of the 93-year-old woman's death.
The woman was found unconscious by a family member, who called for assistance. Initially firefighters went, due to the proximity of the Fire Department in Marasli, followed by the police.
Initially there was no indication of violence or robbery and it was thought that her sudden death was due to natural causes. This changed following the results of the autopsy and now a police investigation is underway and family members as well as those who had been in contact with her are being called.
The woman lived with her son.
