Makeshift knives found in Corfu Prison

CORFU. Spot checks were carried out on Thursday night.
Corfu Police and the Crime Prevention General Secretariat carried out spot checks in cells and other parts of Corfu Prison on Thursday night, 21 July.
Prison guards also took part along with other police departments and a police dog.
The following were found and seized:
- Mobile phone without a sim card
- 4 makeshift knives
- 3.8g unprocessed cannabis
Corfu police are carrying out interrogations and charges have been brought against four inmates.
