Collection of basic necessities for Corfu Prison
CORFU. On working days from 09:00 to 20:00 at the Workers΄ Centre until Friday 22 December, following an appointment by phone.
The Corfu Self Awareness Group is collecting, in cooperation with the Corfu Workers' Centre, basic necessities for the inmates of Corfu Prison.
The items that these people need and that are not being provided to them in the prison are the following:
- Phonecards
- Toilet paper
- Kitchen paper
- Toothpaste
- Toothbrushes
Phonecards and toilet paper are now essential, especially for the inmates who have no financial resources.
You can buy phonecards from the kiosk on Alexandra Avenue.
These items will be collected in the large hall on the first floor of the Workers' Centre.
Those who want to bring the abovementioned items for the inmates can do so on working days from 09:00 to 20:00 at the Workers' Centre until Friday 22 December, following an appointment by phone.
