CORFU. An award-winning adult animated science-fiction comedy film.

Capodistrias Museum invites the public to another Friday film screening for young and old in the cool museum garden.

The award-winning adult animated science-fiction comedy film "Isle of Dogs" directed by Wes Anderson will be shown on Friday 22 July.

The film is set in the fictional retro-futuristic Japanese city of Megasaki, where Mayor Kenji Kobayashi has banished all dogs to Trash Island due to a canine influenza pandemic. Kobayashi’s nephew Atari sets out to find his missing dog Spots with the help of a group of dogs led by stray dog Chief.

The film is a story of friendship and tolerance of diversity and is a comment on marginalisation, authoritrianism and...pets.

The voices are provided by Bryan Cranston, Bill Murray, Frances McDormand, Jeff Goldblum, F. Murray Abraham, Tilda Swinton, Bob Balaban, Harvey Keitel, Edward Norton, Liev Schreiber, Scarlett Johannson, Yoko Ono and Greta Gerwig.
