Old artillery shell discovered near Vidos Island

CORFU. An old artillery shell was discovered in the sea to the west of Vidos near to a beach on Sunday afternoon.
The artillery shell was discovered by visitors, who immediately contacted the Port Authority. A Coastguard patrol boat went to the area and found the rusty shell.
They closed off the area and called the bomb disposal unit to defuse and safely remove the shell.
