Requirement for vaccination certificate suspended until further notice

ATHENS. At its meeting on Thursday 28 April, the Health Ministry Committee of Experts confirmed that the requirement for vaccination and recovery certificates will be suspended from 1 May.
The committee unanimously recommended the following:
- Suspension of requirement for Covid Pass from 1 May and 100% capacity allowed at venues.
- Suspension of requirement for EUDCC certificate at entry points.
- One rapid test a week, instead of two, for unvaccinated employees with the exception of hospitals and care homes, where the requirement for two rapid tests a week for employees remains.
- One rapid test a week, instead of two, for unvaccinated educators and teaching and research employees. More details will be provided by the Ministry of Education.
The committee's recommendations were accepted by the government and details will be published in a Joint Ministerial Decision. The requirement for vaccination certificates will be reviewwed in September.
A decision will be taken shortly on the use of masks indoors as there is time to review the epidemiological situation until 1 June.
