CORFU. The town was full of life after two years without the carols due to the pandemic.
Songs were heard throughout Corfu Town today, signalling the beginning of the traditional religious Easter events.
Starting with the Church of Agios Nikolaos and Agios Lazarus, which celebrates today, choirs sang the Lazarus Carols all over the island and in the historic centre, including 'San Giacomo' Old Town Hall.
In Theotoky St., Corfu Rotary Club celebrated with a section of 'Mantzaros' Philharmonic Band playing joyful music.
