After Easter holidays pupils will no longer need self tests.
The Health Minister Thanos Plevris announced this morning which measures will be in place during the Easter period and afterwards.
Following the recommendations of the experts' committee, Mr. Plevris announced that from 1 May until 31 August there will be no need to show a vaccination or recovery certificate. The lifting of the requirement to produce a European certificate when entering the country will also be looked into.
From 31 May the use of masks indoors will also not be mandatory.
The Minister announced that when pupils return to school following the Easter holidays self tests will no longer be required.
Those who are unvaccinated will have to take a rapid test once a week in order to go to their workplace.
From 1 May until 31 August all venues will be allowed to operate at 100% capacity.
