CORFU. Experts΄ advice regarding vulnerable groups and unvaccinated.
From today, Saturday 5 March, it is no longer mandatory to wear masks outdoors. The Health Ministry Experts' Committee gave their approval on Wednesday for the restriction to be lifted.
The experts recommend, however, that those belonging to vulnerable groups and those who are unvaccinated should continue wearing masks outdoors and that everybody, whether they belong to those groups or not, should wear a mask where there are large numbers of people gathered.
The gradual improvement in epidemiological data over the last few weeks led to the committee giving the go-ahead for this measure to be relaxed earlier than had previously been expected.
