Statement from Health Minister Thanos Plevris:
"Following a request from the government, the health experts committee advised at its meeting today that the ban on standing at entertainment venues be lifted, that school field trips be allowed, attendance at sports events to be increased to 50% capacity, work from home be limited to 20% of staff in the private and public sectors.
Specific requests will be discussed at the next meeting on Thursday.
Details on the lifting of restrictions noted above will be published in a governmental ministerial decision (KYA) expected before the end of the week, while measures will go into effect this coming Saturday (Feb. 19)."
