CORFU. "There are no protocols for the prevention of the virus spreading," say staff.
The Psychiatric Department Employees' Union claim that there is a danger of the virus spreading and are referring once again to the issue they brought up in December 2021.
The union says that, at the moment, there is a Covid case in the Psychiatric Clinic and, the way things are, they cannot ensure prevention of the virus spreading and the smooth running of the department.
There are also two cases in the Nikos Moros Hostel, who remain accommodated there, despite the fact that basic isolation conditions are not guaranteed.
"The personnel cannot be responsible for any spread of the virus in the mental health facilities when the proper conditions for isolating patients do not exist," says the union.
