Deputy Defence Minister in Corfu on Sunday to sign Memorandum of Cooperation with Central Corfu Municipality

CORFU. The Memorandum of Cooperation aims to promote Ioannis Capodistrias.
Deputy Defence Minister Nikos Hardalias is visiting Corfu on Sunday 16 January to sign a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Ministry and Central Corfu & Diapontia Islands Municipality with Mayor Meropi Ydraiou.
In the Memorandum both parties will jointly agree to work together to promote Ioannis Capodistrias through joint scientific and cultural activities.
The Memorandum will be signed at Maraslio Town Hall at 19:30 and prior to that Nikos Hardalias will visit Othoni at 13:30 to inspect the military outpost and lay a wreath at the memorial to those who lost their lives in the 'Proteus' submarine.
On Sunday night Meropi Ydraiou will give a dinner in his honour, which will also be attended by local representatives of the armed forces, political authority and the church.
