‘Melissa’ to participate in Municipal Christmas events

CORFU. The Corfu Association of Parents, Guardians and Friends of People with Special Needs visited the Central Corfu Deputy Mayor for Culture Chrysoula Tombrou.
The Parents, Guardians and Friends of People with Special Needs Association President Spyros Zoumboulidis, along with the Head of the ‘Melissa’ programme, psychologist Dora Payiati, and the Head of the musical events Georgina Zoumboulidou, visited the Central Corfu Deputy Mayor for Culture Chrysoula Tombrou following an invitation by the latter, in order for the ‘Melissa’ Special Needs Daycare Centre to participate in the Municipal Christmas events.
As a result, the young people and employees of ‘Melissa’ visited the San Giacomo Old Town Hall and the events hall and it was decided that the ‘Melissa’ Choir will take part in the events on Monday 20 December 2021 at 11:30am.
The Deputy Mayor Chrysoula Tombrou congratulated the Association for its social work and everything that it has been doing for Corfu’s people with special needs all these years and proposed further collaboration between the Association and the Municipality, apart from cultural and sports events.
