Approval given for Corfu Town Festival

CORFU. Approval has been given for an international cultural festival in Corfu Town.
Ionian Islands Regional Administration gave its final approval today for an International Corfu Town Festival, to be organised by Central Corfu & Diapontia Islands Municipality.
The funding programme for the festival, to be organised and managed by the Municipality, will run until the end of 2023 and is expected to include two annual festivals - 2022 and 2023.
The festival will include some already existing events plus other new ones including performance arts, exhibitions, music, literature, poetry, gastronomy and audiovisual arts.
The project is to be co-funded by the 'Ionian Islands 2014-2020' Business Programme to the amount of €833,910.
