CORFU. No improvement in the Covid situation at Corfu Hospital.
According to hospital sources (Saturday 14:00), there are 25 Covid patients in the Special Infectious Diseases Unit, 13 in the Pulmonary Clinic and 4 in the ICU - a total of 42.
The hospital has taken extra measures due to the transmission of the virus within the hospital, with patients in the Pathological Department found to be Covid positive. Escorts have been temporarily forbidden from entering the department and, according to hospital sources, the measures will be reviewed tomorrow.
