CORFU. First Ionian Islands classes suspended in Lefkada.
According to the Ionian Islands Regional Education Department, 5 primary school pupils and 5 teachers have tested positive for Covid plus 11 secondary school pupils.
Up to now, no classes have been suspended in Corfu.
Since the beginning of the week, a total of 110 pupils have tested positive - 25 in primary schools and 85 in secondary schools - plus 7 teachers.
Classes suspended in Kalamos, Lefkada
According to the Education Ministry, the Nursery School in Kalamos, Lefkada has been closed until 3 December as well as the Primary School, until 1 December due to multiple Covid cases.
The two are the only schools in the Ionian Islands that have been closed up to now.
