CORFU. Special police teams are continuing their checks to ensure that Covid measures are being adhered to.
Between Friday night, 19 November, and early Saturday morning the following fines were imposed:
A cafe bar in Messonghi was fined €5,000 and closed for two weeks for serving a customer outdoors without the necessary certificate - the customer was also fined €300.
During the same period, €300 fines were imposed for employees and customers not wearing masks and other violations as follows: 16 in Corfu, 4 in Lefkada 1 in Cephalonia and 1 in Zakynthos.
