14 patients in Corfu Hospital Covid Unit and 1 in ICU

CORFU. The number of Covid patients in the Special Infectious Diseases Unit remains in the double digits.
Corfu is on high alert due to the increase in the number of infections, with 186 new cases recorded over the last two days.
On Friday afternoon there were 14 Covid patients hospitalised in the Special Infectious Diseases Unit at Corfu Hospital and one vaccinated 65-year-old man in the ICU. The ages of the patients in the Covid Unit range from 27 to 86 and the majority are unvaccinated.
Corfu is in the red on the epidemiological map along with another 26 regions out of a total of 50. Up to now, however, according to hospital sources, there hasn't been a corresponding increase in the number of hospitalisations.
