Use of ΄borrowed΄ vaccination certificate in Corfu

CORFU. Heavy fines and 7-day closure for two businesses.
Police checks are continuing at catering establishments and between Saturday night, 30 October, and early Sunday morning there were the following violations in Corfu:
- A nightclub was fined €2,000 and the business closed for 7 days for serving a customer using someone else's vaccination certificate. The customer was also fined €300 for using a fake certificate.
- A grill was fined €2,000 and the business closed for 7 days for exceeding the maximum number of customers allowed per table in the outdoor area.
During the same period, €300 fines were imposed for employees and customers not wearing masks as follows: 11 in Corfu, 1 in Cephalonia and 1 in Lefkada. Two fines of €150 were also imposed in Corfu for not using masks in a taxi.
