Courses at Corfu School of Tourism to begin on November 8

CORFU. Courses are expected to be completed on 3 June 2022.
Corfu School of Tourism is about to start operating again in a few days. This is a positive development that was expected by the local community, due to the school’s huge contribution in specialised staff in the tourism industry.
The issue of the necessity of the continuation of the School of Tourism's operation had been raised during the meeting that the President of Corfu Tourist Accommodation Owners Federation Pericles Katsaros, the President of Corfu Hoteliers' Association Babis Voulgaris, the Pressident of AOCTA (Association of Corfu Travel Agents) Spyros Halikiopoulos and the President of Corfu Trade Association Kostas Mouzakitis recently had with the Tourism Minister Vassilis Kikilias.
Mr. Kikilias had given assurances that the School of Tourism will operate and said that staff will be recruited.

Corfu School of Tourism announced that, according to the Ministry of Tourism, the academic year 2021-2022 is set to begin on Monday 8 November, 2021.
The courses are expected to be completed on June 3, 2022.
In particular:
The start and end dates of the semesters are as follows:
- First and third semesters begin on 8 November 2021 and end on 18 February 2022
- Second and fourth semesters begin on 21 February 2022 and end on 3 June 2022
- Internship begins on 6 June 2022
A semester is considered complete when the hours provided for by the curriculum have been completed.
The School of Tourism’s Director is responsible for:
- drawing up of the weekly programme per semester,
- setting the dates of the final exams per semester,
In case any lessons are missed, they will be rescheduled for another time or day, within the duration of the semester.
