Ag.Deka and Viros still without electricity

CORFU. Difficult night for residents in Agious Deka and Viros, who have been without electricity since yesterday due to the heavy rainfall.
DEDDIE crews have been working since yesterday in adverse weather conditions to repair the damage as quickly as possible.
The power outage is due to falling trees hitting the electricity poles. Power was restored late last night in Messonghi and Moraitika - two of the areas that were worst hit in Corfu.
DEDDIE Director Nikos Sofianos told Enimerosi that they were only able to get at the damage that was done to central lines at around 15:00 after 19:00 due to the fact that the road was closed and there was no access to the areas.
