CORFU. The road leading to the sea became impassable.
The road leading to the sea in southern Corfu village Chlomos became impassable. The heavy rainfall caused materials, such as stones, soil and tree roots, to fall onto the road.
There was also a lot of rubbish on the ground, such as plastic bags, rubble and bulky objects.
Varvara Papavlasopoulou captured on video the road’s condition on Friday morning, after the heavy downpour.
