CORFU. The number of patients in the Special Infectious Diseases Unit has decreased slightly.
At 11:00 on Friday 8 October there were 17 Covid patients in the Special Infectious Diseases Unit and there are still 4 patients in the ICU.
A 36-year-old vaccinated Serbian tourist has been taken off the ventilator and, if all goes well, he is expected to be discharged from the ICU.
The majority of the Covid patients are unvaccinated Corfu residents.
