CORFU. 6 DEDDIE workers have been sent from Patras to help repair damage to the power supply as quickly as possible.
Some areas in North and South Corfu are still having problems with electricity supply today due to the severe weather conditions which continued during the night.
Problems have been caused in various areas by electrical discharges, fallen trees and flooding in some DEI substations. The Fire Department has been pumping out the floodwater and the damage is gradually being repaired.
Areas affected include Petriti, Lefkimmi, Valanio and a section of Pantokrator along with some parts of Corfu Town.
DEDDIE crews worked through the night but their work was made difficult by the worsening of weather conditions.
