Corfu Hospital: One death in the ICU and one in the Covid Unit

An 83-year-old woman who had been hospitalised in the ICU died on Sunday afternoon. On Monday morning a 72-year-old man who had been hospitalised in the Covid Unit also died. According to hospital sources, both patients were unvaccinated.

The number of patients in the Covid Unit remains at the same high level and a section of the Pulmonary Clinic is being used in order to relieve the pressure.

There were 4 more admissions on Sunday night and at 10:00 today, Monday, there are 23 patients, 90% of whom are unvaccinated.
