CORFU. Two cars were involved in a road accident in Alexandras Avenue in Corfu Town just after 14:30 today.
The one car, driven by a young man, was driving towards Riz. Voulefton from San Rocco Square and at the junction hit a car coming down Riz. Voulefton.
A woman was trapped in her car and firefighters were called out to free her. She was taken by ambulance to Corfu Hospital, having suffered injuries but still conscious.
According to initial information, her injuries are not serious.
