The tennis player has taken part in Greek public pandemic campaigns.
Stefanos Tsitsipas refuses to get vaccinated unless it becomes mandatory. It seems that the Greek tennis player is one of those who have doubts about the vaccination, says Reuters. It should be noted that he has taken part in Greek public pandemic campaigns.
"Nobody has said anything about it to me. Nobody has made the vaccination mandatory," he told reporters, according to the press agency, when asked whether he would get vaccinated to take part in a US tournament.
"At some point I will have to do it - I'm sure about that," he added. "But up to now it hasn't been mandtory for me to get vaccinated in order to take part in competitions and so I haven't done it."
In contrast, Roger Federe and Rafa Nadal believe that sportspeople need to play a role in the return to normality. Federer had the Pfizer vaccination in May and Nadal said, "The only way to escape this nightmare is to get vaccinated. It is our responsibility as human beings to accept this."
