IONIAN ISLANDS. A total of 22 fines were issued in Corfu and another 23 in the other Ionian Islands on 9 & 10 August.
Early on Tuesday morning, August 10, a female cafe-bar owner in Cephalonia was arrested for serving standing customers indoors and was fined €2,000, while the business closed for 7 days.
On Monday 9 and early on Tuesday morning, 22 employees and customers in Corfu, 13 in Zakynthos, 1 in Lefkada and 1 in Cephalonia were fined €300 each for not wearing masks.
7 more fines of €300 were also issued in Zakynthos for movement violations.
