CORFU. 15 patients are hospitalised in Corfu Hospital Special Infectious Diseases Unit with Covid-19 and there is one patient in the ICU.
The patients are unvaccinated. The Head of the Pulmonary Department Elias Papanikolaos told Enimerosi that admissions to the Special Infectious Diseases Unit are mainly from the 40-60 age group and the average age is 45.
According to Dr. Papanikolaos, the vast majority are local residents - out of the 15 patients, just two are tourists.
