Volunteers donate 40 bags of food to ΄Help at Home΄ in North Corfu

CORFU. Volunteers Amanda Smith, Anthony Smith, Ken Harrop and Jan Harrop handed over the donation to Deputy Mayor for Circular Economy, Environment and Public Relations Spyridoula Kokkali.
On Thursday 28 July a group of volunteers handed over 40 bags of longlife foodstuffs and toiletries to be used by 'Help at Home' for those in need.
Volunteers Amanda Smith, Anthony Smith, Ken Harrop and Jan Harrop handed over the donation to Deputy Mayor for Circular Economy, Environment and Public Relations Spyridoula Kokkali and promised to continue their work to help those in need in North Corfu.
The North Corfu Municipality stated that its social work to help those facing difficulties is ongoing and it is working to help vulnerable groups with the necessary seriousness and discretion especially at this time when social needs are greater.
With the upcoming feast days of Metamorphosis and Sotiros (6/8) and the Assumption of the Virgin Mary (15/8) the North Corfu Municipality will be giving food to families facing difficulties and vulnerable groups.
