ATHENS. Clarification following questions about what is required to enter enclosed spaces such as cinemas, restaurants, cafes and bars etc.
The obligation of the business owner, legal representative or authorised person to check vaccination or recovery certificates using the special electronic app Covid Free GR applies only to Greek citizensand other EU citizens – holders of the EU Digital Covid Certificate.
Third-country nationals, such as from the United Kingdom, the United States, Serbia, Saudi Arabia etc., may enter the above enclosed spaces by simply presenting their country's vaccination certificate or recovery certificate in printed or digital form, along with an identification document.
