CORFU. The 73-year-old British patient in Corfu Hospital ICU passed away early on Tuesday morning.
The 73-year-old Briton had been hospitalised in the ICU for the last ten days. He had tested positive for Covid-19 even though he was fully vaccinated and had underlying health conditions.
At the moment there are 10 patients in the Special Infectious Diseases Unit, three of which are still under investigation.
Three of these patients are elderly Corfu residents and the others are aged between 20 and 45 and are mainly foreign nationals. There are no patients in the ICU.
