Stricter checks on travellers from Russia due to Delta Covid variant

ATHENS. From 30 June all travellers arriving from Russia must have certification of a negative PCR or rapid test whether or not they are vaccinated.
Due to concern about the spread of the Delta Covid variant in Russia, there will be stricter checks on travellers arriving from the country. The Health Ministry announced that, to safeguard the health of tourists, those working in the tourism sector and general public health, it has been decided to amend the policy regarding arrivals from Russia.
Following the spread of the Delta SARS-CoV-2 variant in Russia, from 30 June all travellers arriving from the country must have certification of a negative PCR or rapid test. The measure will apply regardless of whether or not they been vaccinated.
They will also be tested on arrival.
