Announcement regarding masks in outdoor spaces to be made today

ATHENS. All the information available suggests that masks will cease to be mandatoru outdoors.
The Committee of Experts is meeting today to decide whether or not it will remain mandatory for members of the public to wear masks outdoors from this weekend.

An announcement will be made today at 18:00 by Civil Protection Deputy Minister Nikos Hardalias, Infectious Diseases specialist and member of the Committee of Experts Vana Papaevaggelou and Epidemiologist and member of the Committee of Experts Gikas Mayiorkinis.
Deputy Health Minister Vassilis Kontozamanis will also be present to answer any questions regarding the Health System.
Government Spokesperson Aristotelia Peloni told SKAI TV on Wednesday morning that a decision will be announced today after the government has heard the committee's recommendations.
