Primary school pupils and teacher test positive for Covid-19

CORFU. The virus continues to spread in Corfu schools with new cases in two primary schools and a private kindergarten.
According to the Ionian Islands Regional Department of Education, a teacher at Agros School Centre tested positive for Covid-19 resulting in 4th and 5th Year primary classes being suspended. The decision of the Health Inspector is awaited as to whether the school should be closed.
Class 1 in the 2nd Year at Kato Korakiana Primary School has also been suspended - a 5th Year class has already been suspended.
A pupil at the private kindergarten 'What I Love' has also tested positive and his section suspended.
In all cases the necessary health protocols were followed and the areas disinfected and pupils from the suspended classes will be following lessons online.
