All private sector employees and individual business owners can now get two free self tests from pharmacies.
From Monday 24 May until Saturday 29 May availability of self tests from pharmacies has been extended to all those working in the private and public sectors as well as those who have individual businesses. They are allowed to have two free self test kits - one for this week and one for the week beginning 31 May.
Those taking the self tests must register the results on the Ergani platform for private sector employees and on the special platform for public sector employees.
The Employment Ministry announced that for this week, 24 - 30 May, the obligation for employees to have taken a self test up to 24 hours before attending work in person does not apply. In other words, an employee may go to work this week and register the test result on a later day during the week.
