The Achillion Palace opened its doors to visitors once again on 14 May whilst adhering to the EODY and Ministry of Culture guidelines for the safety of visitors and staff.
The management company Hellenic Public Properties Company (ETAD) says that it aims to continue to upgrade Achillion Palace and to establish it as a modern museum which will be a cultural and tourist attraction bringing benefits both to the local Corfu economy and Greece as a whole.
"We would like to remind everyone that renovation work is going on at this time at the landmark monument Achillion Palace as part of the project 'Renovation & Promotion of Corfu Achillion Palace (2nd Stage)'. The work is being carried out by ETAD in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture & Sport and the Ionian Islands Regional Administration.
The completion of this important work will help to showcase the Achillion Palace as a cultural attraction both in Corfu and in Greece as a whole, restoring this landmark monument to the position it deserves with its rich history and great cultural heritage."
