ATHENS. Undersecretary to the Prime Minister Akis Skertsos announced that from Friday 14 May the SMS movement codes will end and inter-regional travel will be allowed.
The daily curfew will now begin at 00:30 and the click away and click in shop systems will also end.
From 06:00 on Friday inter-regional travel will once again be allowed but the government recommends that those who haven't been vaccinated take a self test, rapid test or PCR test before travelling between Regions.
Tourism officially begins on 14 May with a vaccination certificate (for both shots) or a negative PCR test up to 72 hours before travel. Full details will be announced by Tourism Minister Haris Theoharis on Thursday.
May 14th - Museums open.
May 17th - Kindergartens open; college practical and laboratory work begin again; attendance at adult schools (second chance schools) allowed; diploma preparation classes at vocational high schools reopen.
May 21st - Open-air cinemas reopen with maximum of 75% capacity.
May 28th - Open-air theatre performances and concerts allowed.
