ATHENS. EODY announced 2,461 laboratory confirmed new cases on Saturday 8 May including 18 in Corfu.
EODY announced that there were 2,461 confirmed new cases today. 4 of the cases were detected at entry points.
The total number of cases in Greece is now 360,577, of which 51.2% are males. Over the last 7 days 52 of the cases are connected to arrivals from abroad and 2,062 are connected with known cases.
There were 68 deaths today taking the total number of fatalities to 10,978. 95.2% of these had underlying health conditions or were over 70.
737 patients are intubated in ICUs.The average age is 67and 83.7% have underlying health conditions or are over 70. 2,174 patients have been discharged from ICUs
The number of new hospital admissions is 371 (-5.36%) and the average number of admissions throughout the country over the last 7 days is 384.
