CORFU. Police used megaphones to break up crowds in town.
The crowding in parts of Corfu Town recently has led to comments and concern. In an effort to control the situation, on Wednesday night police in patrol cars used their megaphones to try and break up the crowds with the warning: "For the protection of public health gatherings are not allowed. Please disperse."
This tactic had been used by the police during the previous lockdown and is implemented when people are seen to be gathering in crowds.
