CORFU. A total of 58 fines were issued in Corfu and another 25 in the other Ionian Islands on Thursday 8 April.
Ionian Islands police teams are continuing their checks to ensure that the measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus are being adhered to.
On 8 April fines of €300 for not wearing masks were imposed on 15 people in Corfu and 4 in Zakynthos.
€300 fines were also issued for lockdown violations as follows: 43 in Corfu, 8 in Zakynthos, 7 in Lefkada and 6 in Cephalonia.
