CORFU. Corfu pharmacists have started receiving supplies of self tests. These will be available to the public for free - once a week for each AMKA number.
More work for pharmacists from today - before the self tests can be distributed they need to be assembled.
One pharmacist told Enimerosi that there is separate packaging for each type and the whole kit (swab, test strip, extraction tube and waste bag) has to be packaged by the pharmacists themselves.

An official announcement is still awaited.
Pupils and teachers first
The Undersecretary to the PM Akis Skertsos said that his week only AMKA numbers for pupils, teachers and other school staff will be accepted. He added that there will a detailed update from the Education Minister and the Deputy Health Minister.
Following this, the self tests will be made available to the age group 18 - 67 and finally to those over 67.
For those in good health
Self tests will only be done at home and not at the pharmacists.
It should be noted that the tests are for healthy people and the asymptomatic. If someone has symptoms of the virus - fever, cough and others - negative tests must always be confirmed by a PCR test.
