CORFU. A total of 44 fines were issued in Corfu and another 16 in the other Ionian Islands on Thursday 1 April.
Ionian Islands police teams are continuing their checks to ensure that the measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus are being adhered to.
On 1 April fines of €300 for not wearing masks were imposed on 6 people in Corfu and 1 in Zakynthos.
€300 fines were also issued for lockdown violations as follows: 38 in Corfu, 6 in Zakynthos, 6 in Cephalonia and 3 in Lefkada.
