Hospital Director gives update on vaccination programme

CORFU. The Director met with the three mayors, the president of the Medical Association and the coordinator of the Psychiatric Clinic.

Corfu Hospital Director Leonidas Roubatis had a working meeting with Central Corfu & Diapontia Islands Mayor Meropi Ydraiou, South Corfu Mayor Kostas Lessis, North Corfu Mayor Giorgos Mahimaris, Corfu Medical Association President Dimitris Kaloudis and the Coordinating Director of the Psychiatric Clinic Zannis Haviaras on Wednesday 31 March.

The Director gave an update on what the hospital has been doing with regard to the pandemic and the progress of the vaccination programme as well as the hospital and Medical Association's committment to keeping the public updated on vaccinations.

In a statement the Hospital Administration said, "With the assistance of specialists from the hospital's psychiatric department an Advice Centre is being set up in North Corfu and we are also committed to setting up an Advice Centre in South Corfu."

The three mayors responded positively to the administration's request for practical support with health equipment for Covid-19.

"I was very pleased with today's meeting and the excellent cooperation with the mayors, the Medical Association president and the Director of the Psychiatric Clinic and we know we can count on them for their practical support for the hospital in these difficult times," said Leonidas Roubatis.
