CORFU. Corfu General Clinic now has a modern General Electric Signa Creator E 1.5T MRI system.
The new MRI system is the only one in operation in Northwest Greece and is the latest generation and most reliable available in the world at the moment.
In a simple and safe way, without radiation and side-effects, it provides analytical medical imaging of the whole body with high-definition images of the muscular, bone and vascular systems. Some of the main features of the new system are the speed of examination, a full-body MRI can be completed in a few minutes, and convenience for the patient with a low noise level.
The length of the MRI and the examination time, which is no longer than 15 minutes, also reduce any anxiety and claustrophobia that the patient may feel.
For the convenience of patients the Clinic is aligned to the EOPYY national health system.
Corfu General Clinic is also pleased to announce that its new ambulance is now fully-equipped with all the mobile unit equipment - portable respirator, capnograph monitor, automatic defibrillator and everything else necessary for the safe transportation and support for intubated patients and other serious cases.
